  • the types of personal data we collect about you;
  • how your personal data is processed by Milvue and its potential partners and processors;
  • how your personal data is used and your rights in this respect, in compliance with the applicable European and French legislation.

All operations involving your personal data are carried out in compliance with the regulations in force, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the "GDPR") and any applicable national data protection legislation.

  • "Internet" refers to the various networks of servers located around the world, interconnected by communication networks and communicating via the TCP/IP protocol;
  • "File" refers to any structured and stable set of personal data accessible according to specific criteria;
  • "Personal data", "special categories of data" and "processing" have the same meaning as in Article 4 of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679);
  • the "Data Controller" is the entity that collects and processes personal data;
  • the "Processor" is any person who processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller, in accordance with its instructions;
  • the "Recipients" are any authorized person who receives data, other than the Data Controller, the Processor and the persons responsible for processing the data by virtue of their duties;
  • the "Authorized Third Parties" are the authorities legally empowered to request the disclosure of personal data;
  • the "Data Subject" is the natural person to whom the processed data relates;
  • a "processing of personal data" means any operation performed on personal data (collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, alignment, restriction, erasure or destruction), whether or not by automated means.

Article 2 - Scope

This policy (hereinafter the "Policy") is intended to inform data subjects about how their personal data is collected and processed by Milvue in the context of the milvue.com website.

Article 3 - Identity of the data controller

Personal data is collected by Milvue, whose registered office is located at 35 rue Vaugelas, 75015 Paris, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Registry under number 841 005 432 (SIRET 84100543200015), represented by Alexandre Parpaleix, in his capacity as President.

Article 4 - Processing of personal data

Milvue is committed to protecting the privacy of its users in compliance with the regulations in force, in particular the French "Informatique et Libertés" Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, and the GDPR.

a) Data collected, purposes and legal bases

As part of the operation of the https://milvue.com website, Milvue collects data about you, processed in accordance with the purposes specified at the time of collection:

Contact (identity and contact details)
Purpose: handling information and contact requests. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: the period necessary to handle the requests.
Data from demonstration requests (last name, first name, email)
Purpose: handling solution-demonstration requests and commercial prospecting. Legal basis: legitimate interest and consent. Retention: 3 years from the last contact you initiated.
Cookies and other trackers
Purpose: website traffic statistics. Legal basis: consent. Retention: 13 months.

Data marked with an asterisk in the forms is mandatory; failure to provide it makes access to the services or the handling of the related request impossible. Other data is optional. With your prior consent, Milvue may also collect your identity (last name, first name, email), professional information (your organization) and the content of messages sent through the contact forms.

b) Recipients of the data collected

The database is strictly confidential. Milvue takes the appropriate organizational and technical measures to preserve the security, integrity and confidentiality of the data and to prevent any unauthorized access.

To operate the site and handle your requests, Milvue relies on the following categories of processors, which access your data strictly within the limits of their assignment: website hosting (Cloudflare), audience measurement and statistics (Google Analytics), customer-relationship management and commercial follow-up (HubSpot), consent management (Axeptio) and video embedding (YouTube / Google). These providers act on Milvue's instructions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

c) Data disclosed to authorities

In accordance with the regulations in force, data may be disclosed to the competent authorities upon request, exclusively to meet legal obligations, as well as to judicial auxiliaries and ministerial officers.

Article 5 - Rights of data subjects

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing, and the portability of your data.

You also have the right to object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds, as well as to its use for commercial prospecting purposes. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

You also have the right to define directives regarding the fate of your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, you can contact Milvue's Data Protection Officer (DPO), providing proof of your identity:

  • by email at dpo@milvue.com;
  • by post: Milvue, 35 rue Vaugelas, 75015 Paris, France.

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL or with the supervisory authority of your place of residence. Data is kept in a form allowing identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.

Article 6 - Transfer of personal data

The data collected on the site is processed by Milvue and by the technical providers (processors) acting on its behalf. Some of these providers - in particular our audience-measurement, customer-relationship-management, hosting and video-embedding partners - are established outside the European Union, notably in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, Milvue ensures that the transfer is governed by appropriate safeguards within the meaning of the GDPR, in particular the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Milvue also reserves the right to disclose your data to meet its legal obligations.

Article 7 - Commercial prospecting

Milvue allows you to receive commercial offers and information by email. You may, at any time, object to these messages and unsubscribe by clicking the link at the end of each message.

Article 8 - Security

Milvue implements the technical and organizational measures necessary to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data collected, guaranteeing a level of security appropriate to the risks, taking into account the state of the art and the cost of implementation. Milvue ensures that its technical providers that may access the data comply with the same confidentiality requirements. It is, however, the responsibility of each user to ensure the security of their own data transmissions over the Internet.
